ADSS Fiber Optic Cable
The structure of ADSS optical fiber cable adopts a loose tube layer stranded structure, 250µm fiber is positioned
in a loose tube made of high modulus material, and the loose tube is filled with a waterproof compound. The
loose tube (and filling rope) is twisted around the non-metallic central reinforcing core (FRP) to form a compact
cable core, and the gap of the cable core is filled with water-blocking ointment. The cable core is extruded with
polyethylene (PE) inner sheath, twisted with aramid for reinforcement, and extruded with polyethylene (PE) outer
sheath or AT outer sheath. The design of ADSS optical cable fully considers the actual situation of power lines and
is suitable for different levels of high-voltage transmission lines. Polyethylene (PE) sheath can be used for 10kV
and 35kV Power lines; For 110kV and 220kV power lines, the hanging point of the optical cable must be
determined by calculating the distribution of electric field strength, and the outer sheath must be used. At the
same time, the dosage of aramid fiber and the perfect stranding process are carefully designed to meet the
application requirements of different spans.
ADSS Fiber Optic Cable Feature:

influence of ice and wind, and reduce the load on the tower and support, with large span.
