Product Introduction
SLTN RP Optical Fiber Cable Loose Tube Laye Staranded Non-Metallic Rodent Protected
The structure of SLTN RP optical fiber cable 250µm fiber is positioned in a loose tube made of high modulus material,
and the loose tube is filled with waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metallic Fiber Reinforced Plastic
(FRP),for some cores fiber cable, a layer of polyethylene (PE) needs to be extruded outside the metallic central strength
member. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular core. And then
the water-blocking tape is applied to keep the cable compact and watertight. A layer of glass yarn is applied as additional
strength member and the cable is completed with a polyethylene(PE) outer sheath.
